The BossUP Company was founded in 2023 in response to a clear and persistent gap within the South African entrepreneurial landscape — access to affordable, practical, and easy-to-understand business education designed specifically for small business owners.
When our founder, Ms. Andile Mtolo, began her entrepreneurial journey, she had no roadmap, no mentor, and no foundational knowledge to navigate the complexities of starting a business. Those experiences inspired a powerful vision: to become the support, guidance, and strategic voice she once needed.
From that vision, The BossUP Company was born — initially as a single course created to help new entrepreneurs gain clarity on the importation process. What began as one offering has since grown into a dynamic and evolving enterprise that empowers female founders across South Africa and beyond.
